Brief one

November 15, 2010

I am working in a group of three including myself, Faith and Latisha. We have chosen to do brief one, therefore we will be creating a movie trailer which will be 2 minutes long. We are also creating another piece of media in order to promote the trailer for example making a poster or a double page spread in a magazine. Our movie is inspired by actual events. as a child this girl was introduced to drugs at a young age due to her mother being a drug addict. Her mother died of a drug overdose when she was a young girl, therefore she was put into care and had to look after herself. Although she does not let this affect her life as she carries on excelling at school and becoming an outstanding student. At the age of 16 she is introduced to a man who acts like a fatherly figure, by taking her and her friends on outings. Due to her not having a father when growing up she looks towards this man for comfort and advice…. there is going to be a twist at the end of the story to leave the viewers on the edges of their seats throughout the movie.

In our group we have all be allocated different jobs to make things easier to handle. For example we have split up the research has been divided between the three of us, so

The target audience for this production is young adults ranging from the age of 16-25.
